cain.jpg (5069 bytes) Art Cain with his wife Sandi moved to Cottonwood in 1993 from Southern CA where they were both in education.  Art was a boys counselor four years in a Christian high school, administrator of a learning disabilities center for 8 years and taught elementary classes for fifteen years before that.  In Cottonwood, Art helped start Cornerstone Christian Academy, and was their first administrator. He still serves on the Cornerstone school board.  Art teaches an adult Bible class and leads a Care Group.  Sandi teaches sixth grade at Verde Valley Christian School.  Art has two sons, and seven grandchildren.  Art was born and reared in central Iowa on a farm, attended Bible college in Omaha, NB, and received a BA from The Master's College in Newhall, CA, in special education.  Though I attended church all my life, I became a Christian at age 20 acknowledging my sin and need of the Savior, trusting Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Since my early retirement due to health problems I have remained active in church and Christian School work helping with building and grounds projects and other programs as needed.  My personal mission statement for life is, "I want to worship God and obey Him."
