Pastor Jim Hammond with Gina and children, Luke (on left) and Karissa with her husband David Lockard (on right).  Jim Hammond, the son of a missionary couple, Al and Eleanor Hammond, spent much of his childhood years in Japan.  Jim has two BA degrees and a MA degree--Westmont College, San Jose Christian College and Hope University (respectively).  Jim and Gina met at Westmont College (Gina was a Phys. Ed. major) and were married in 1983.  Jim and Gina ministered in Poway CA till moving to Cottonwood AZ in January, 1991, when Jim received the call to Verde Valley Christian Church.  The Hammond family enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
